Welcome! Those of you who have visited the NWETC website before will notice some changes. Some things have stayed basically the same (the Course Catalog page), but there are a few exciting new features. One of the additions that we are most proud of is the Course Category Accordion Menu (see picture below.) Click on the course category that you are interested in, and the field will expand to show you a list of course titles that we offer in that area. When you see a course that you'd like to know more about, click it's name and you'll be redirected to the full description page.
Another new feature that we think you'll enjoy is our Videos page. On this page, you'll find short videos that we've produced for several of our courses. In each, our instructors discuss some of their goals for the course and their methodology, and attendees express their impressions of what they've learned. We add videos often, so check back, and scroll down the list to learn more about the courses that you're considering.
Our Checkout system looks a little different from before, and we hope that it will make things easier for you when making a purchase. Once you've logged in and chosen your course, you'll see that there's a drop-down menu where you can select the category that you're eligible for from the list (subject to verification). As you may know, we offer a $50 discount to attendees who work for a government agency, nonprofit organization, Native American tribe, and to students and members of NEBC, NAEP, and AFS. Click "Add to Cart" when you are ready, and you'll be taken through the rest of the checkout process.
When adding a course to your cart, you will be prompted to log in. Instructions to help you log in for the first time are here if you have not yet created a user account with us, and here if you have set up an account with us prior to August 11, 2012.
We hope that you'll find this updated site to be easy to use. It's a good idea to check the blog regularly, because we will be adding more information about our site, our courses, and more.
If you have any questions or need help, please contact us at info@nwetc.org or call 425-270-3274. If there is something that you'd like to see us write a tutorial or article about, please leave a comment in the comment section. Thank you for choosing Northwest Environmental Training Center for your professional development!
