Milestones. They're fun to celebrate, and often they sneak up on you when you aren't thinking about them. That's what happened to us while we were in Portland for the Northwest Environmental Conference and Trade Show. We were exhibiting at the Trade Show, and presenting our course "Effective Communication and Presentation of Environmental Projects" as part of the educational component of the conference. As we were welcoming people to our booth and showing them some of our videos of the courses that we offer, we got an excited call from our office. Apparently our 10,000th attendee was registered in the class! Well, this was a stroke of luck because we had our video camera with us, and we thought it would be fun to go talk to the person. In fact, it was a lot of fun! We put together a short video showing how we surprised the attendee, and did a little "talk show" where we got to know her a little, and looked toward the future and the next 10,000.
